Students are collecting pledges from sponsors prior to the event by recording sponsors’ names on a pledge sheet. Sponsors may donate a fixed amount ($10, $25, $100) or make a pledge per lap (50¢ per lap, $1 per lap, $5 per lap). No pledge is too small! Donations are tax deductible. All pledges should be turned in by Friday, April 5.
All proceeds will go to support our school and help our support day-to-day operations, programs, events, equipment, and maintenance.

To encourage participation, the following incentives will be awarded:
- Certificate: Given to each child who participates with the number laps he/she walked;
- Walk-a-thon medal: Given to each childwho brings in at least $100 in donations;
- Pizza & Ice Cream Party: Given to each class that averages at least $60/student in donations.
