Thursday, Oct. 31 was a special day at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal School. It was our annual Grandparents and Special Friends’ Day! This wonderful day started with a Book Character Parade around the school with our students dressed as their favorite book character. The variety was amazing and all our students did a great job! Then grandparents, special friends, and students gathered for a breakfast snack together before attending a program in the sanctuary. This program had each of our classes performing a song they had been working on to a packed audience. They all were excellent! After each class performed, our award-winning choir sang several songs for the audience’s entertainment! Could there be another award in our future? Finally, everyone was able to visit the student’s classroom and go out to lunch, or for the the day, with their grandparents and special friends. It was another fun-filled, entertaining, and very special day at St. Thomas!
