Employment Opportunities

St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal School strives not only to cultivate in our students a spirit of curiosity and creativity that is crucial to authentic learning, but also to nurture certain fundamental virtues that will prepare a diverse and changing world.

St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal School (STAES) is looking for faculty and staff who embody the following characteristics and can teach children to embody them as well: Honesty, Responsibility, Respect, Kindness, Empathy, Compassion, Belonging, Generosity, and Fairness.

We seek teachers that facilitate the growth of students in a student-centered, developmentally appropriate environment focusing on research-based best practices following a differentiated, balanced approach, and curriculum. While developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, parents, and faculty members, they will recognize and coach the social-emotional needs of each student.

We accept resumes throughout the year. If you are interested in being considered for other openings that may arise, please send your resume and a cover letter explaining why you believe you might be a good fit for STAES.

All applicants being considered must also be screened in a pre-employment criminal check.

All prospective employees must supply a current resume, cover letter, transcripts, references, and other information. Please submit to Andie Knight at aknight@stesnb.org
